Challenge
Go-to-market: securing investors and building an international growth-ready community
Beyond laying the marketing foundations for Lingo (website, social media, editorial guidelines), the founders brought us in to:
- Attract and convince investors for their Series A (€10 million).
- Build an initial engaged community across three markets: France, Germany, and Nigeria.
- Identify the audiences, channels, and value propositions with the strongest growth potential.
Strategy
Content-driven community building and targeted investor outbound
- Getting the basics right first (website, social presence, editorial guidelines) gave Lingo the credibility needed to be taken seriously by both investors and the target community. Without that foundation, the rest would not have landed the same way.
- Personalizing outbound at the individual level made a measurable difference. Tailoring content to each prospect's specific situation produced a strong reply rate and opened conversations that generic outreach would not have.
- Testing fast and adjusting in real time let us drop what was not working and double down on what was. That approach drove better results than committing early to a fixed plan.
Results
Early traction: strong community growth and high outbound engagement
- +13K community members
- 100+ pieces of content created
