ZoomInfo’s admin panel includes a suppression tied to the national Do Not Call registry, masking numbers across the entire instance once an administrator turns it on. Seamless.AI’s own pages document no equivalent tool, only a Credit Back Protection policy that explicitly excludes phone numbers from its refund guarantee. On state data-broker registration, Seamless.AI names 4 states, Texas, California, Oregon and Vermont, while ZoomInfo names only 1, despite admitting elsewhere that it sells personal data. Scope compared, criterion by criterion. Checked 14 September 2026.

ZoomInfo documents an administrator-activated suppression tied to the national Do Not Call registry, masking numbers across the entire instance once switched on. Seamless.AI’s own phone-number page describes something else entirely: a Credit Back Protection policy that returns a credit if an email does not exist, while explicitly excluding phone numbers from that protection. No Do Not Call suppression feature is documented on Seamless.AI’s pages as tested — an absence, not a claim that the feature does not exist anywhere in the product.
Seamless.AI’s state consumer privacy policy names Texas, California, Oregon and Vermont as data-broker registrations, alongside sixteen states covered for access, correction, deletion and opt-out-of-sale rights, routed through a DataGrail-hosted form and a published phone line. ZoomInfo registers as a data broker in Texas alone, not in California or Vermont, while its own pages admit elsewhere that it sells personal data — the same admission, a narrower registry footprint.
Seamless.AI’s Credit Back Protection returns a spent credit when an email does not exist or is disabled, but the same policy explicitly excludes temporary bounces, role-based addresses, and phone numbers altogether. A wrong or disconnected mobile number, unlike a wrong email, is not covered by any refund mechanism Seamless.AI publishes.
One set of figures on Seamless.AI’s own pages reads one billion three hundred million-plus contacts researched and one hundred twenty-one million-plus companies researched. Another set, undated like the first, reads one billion three hundred million-plus verified contacts, one point eight million-plus verified business emails, and four hundred fourteen million-plus mobile numbers. Both are Seamless.AI’s own published figures, and neither is dated or reconciled against the other.
A release note dated 11 May 2026 states the API is available on every plan, including free accounts, at no separate cost. Elsewhere, Seamless.AI states it does not publish standalone API pricing and that access varies by tier. Seamless.AI publishes both statements and reconciles neither, leaving a free-tier user with no way to confirm API access without testing it directly.
ZoomInfo’s privacy policy allows transfer of data to any other country, without naming one beyond the United States. Seamless.AI’s privacy policy uses a near-identical formula: the United States, or any other country where Seamless.AI or its service providers do business, again without naming a second country. Neither vendor’s cloud-residency claim survives contact with a buyer who needs to know exactly where their contact data sits.
