By default, SEO PowerSuite stores everything on the customer’s own machine rather than with the vendor; only its Cloud and Dropbox options are actually hosted, and neither carries a named US region, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, GovCloud, a HIPAA BAA or a SOC 2 certification. Semrush stores its data in the United States instead, on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, with only a PCI DSS Level 1 certification of its own. Scope compared, criterion by criterion. Checked 7 September 2026.

SEO PowerSuite’s default architecture keeps rankings, backlinks, crawl data and keywords on the customer’s own machine, installed as four separate desktop applications, not on the vendor’s servers. Only two paths change that: the Cloud option and the Dropbox option, both of them hosted, and neither one names a US region or carries FedRAMP, StateRAMP, GovCloud, a HIPAA BAA or a SOC 2 certification.
Semrush stores customer data in the United States, on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, without naming a specific region; its own certification is limited to PCI DSS Level 1, with data-center-level certifications belonging to the hosts instead. SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, GovCloud and a HIPAA BAA are absent from Semrush as well, and its own subprocessor list places AWS in the United States and Ireland at once.
SEO PowerSuite is sold by Techfusion LTD, based in Cyprus, through 2Checkout, tax-exclusive, naming no US state, basis or nexus, with no tax-policy page at all; the order page itself is blocked by its own robots.txt and could not even be read to verify it. Semrush collects and remits its own US sales tax instead, across twenty-four jurisdictions down to the local level, from one percent in Connecticut up to fifteen percent in Chicago — though its own Terms state tax is excluded from the price, while its FAQ states tax is included, a contradiction reported here without resolving.
SEO PowerSuite sells only self-service by card through 2Checkout, from a Free tier at zero dollars up to Max+ at eight hundred ninety-nine dollars a year, with no purchase order, net-30, ACH or W-9 at any level. Semrush accepts check or wire transfer inside the United States on annual subscriptions only, with the threshold left undefined as “depending on account value,” and an invoice available only through a separately signed Order.
SEO PowerSuite sells a single-user licence installable anywhere, but never active on two machines at once; two colleagues working in parallel need two full licences, with no published volume discount, and white labelling forced onto the Enterprise edition. Semrush instead includes one seat on every plan, with each additional seat priced at forty-five, eighty or one hundred dollars a month depending on the tier, three seats at most.
SEO PowerSuite exports CSV, SQL and HTML from its Professional tier on the pricing grid, though its own help center restricts direct CSV export to the Enterprise edition instead — another contradiction between the vendor’s own pages. Semrush exports CSV, XLSX and PDF, with the exportable row count capped according to the subscriber’s tier.
