Serpstat sells through Promotions and Development Group Corp, a Delaware entity based in Wilmington, naming no US region, host, or certification anywhere, and gives only a generic tax rule, that tax “depends on payment info.” Non-card billing opens only at its Team tier, 100 dollars a month, while its 50-dollar Individual tier excludes it entirely, and Ahrefs keeps the same kind of gate one step further out, reserving non-card billing for its 1,499-dollar Enterprise tier alone. Scope compared, criterion by criterion. Checked 7 September 2026.

Serpstat sells through its own entities, chiefly Promotions and Development Group Corp, based in Wilmington, Delaware, with Stripe and PayPal reduced to mere payment processors rather than merchants of record. Its own tax rule states only that liability “depends on payment info,” with no state, calculation basis, or nexus statement published anywhere.
Serpstat opens non-card billing only at its Team tier, a hundred US dollars a month; its Individual tier, at fifty dollars, excludes it entirely, leaving card as the only option below double the price. Annual billing saves up to twenty-seven percent, and the only named payment term anywhere is seven days for undisputed invoices; no net-30, purchase order, ACH, or W-9 is published, and the refund policy itself reads as contradictory across pages.
Ahrefs opens non-card billing only at Enterprise, one thousand four hundred ninety-nine US dollars a month on an annual commitment; its help center names invoice or wire as the options there, while its pricing page names only wire, with both versions left standing rather than reconciled. Below that tier, card is the only path, and purchase orders, net-30, ACH, and a W-9 are all absent.
Serpstat’s language count depends on which page answers: its pricing selector shows four entries, English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian, while its help-center navigation shows only two, English and Ukrainian; its own “Settings” article documents no language count at all. Ahrefs ships fifteen interface languages, English listed as a single entry with no US or UK distinction drawn.
Serpstat states its backlink index at one point one trillion links on three separate pages, and five hundred twenty-nine billion on its own homepage — two figures that differ by roughly a factor of two, on pages the vendor has not reconciled, with no built-in disavow tool published either. Ahrefs states thirty-five trillion live links, refreshed every fifteen to thirty minutes, and likewise offers no built-in disavow tool.
Serpstat’s Individual tier costs fifty US dollars a month: a hundred daily searches, five projects, no API access, and no second user. Ahrefs’s Starter tier costs twenty-nine dollars a month: two hundred credits, two hundred fifty rows per report, no export, and no additional users.
